George & Kay's Wedding At Wentbridge House, Pontefract

We loved being a part of George & Kays wedding! As Wedding Photographers it's a real pleasure to be part of such a beautiful and fun day. We met George & Kay at a previous family wedding we had photographed so they knew how we worked and were confident we would capture their day in the way they wanted. Wentbridge House Hotel in Pontefract was looking amazing, as always, with Antony and the team being a real pleasure to work with. Giving us the freedom to use every inch of the venue to capture the images the bride & groom were hoping for, Antony really was a dream wedding coordinator! He also had some sweet skateboard skills!

So after a laughter filled morning getting ready, with corks flying dangerously around the room, jumping on the bed and a lucky rabbit visiting every now and then, Kay and the bridesmaids were ready. Looking amazing thanks to the wonderful Kym Hirst providing the hair and make-up design.

The great British weather played ball and after the service we had the time to enjoy the venue and shoot the couple who were so at ease in front of the camera and the love and happiness they share really came out. We were privileged enough to be let in on some of their family jokes and had amazing fun creating some very unique images with a nudge and a wink to them. Piggy backs, big pants, sliding down banisters and clothing tags to name just a few!!

Having been a best man myself I have to tip the cap to Ben & Benson who took on the very brave move of writing & performing a song during the speech. Top work fellas, it was brilliant, and thanks for the assistance during the hungry hippos game!

So congratulations again guys and thanks to Janet and all the families for being so welcoming and hopefully Rods brilliant maintenance guide will serve George well!
